Lady Macbeth & Macbeth Graphic Organizer

INTERACTIONS- A. “…put… into my despatch…”

  1. “Only look up clear; To alter…”

INTERACTIONS- The way that Lady Macbeth talks to her husband sounds like she is talking to a child. Macbeth must frustrate his wife because of his weak demeanor.

THOUGHTS- “We will proceed no further in this business…”

SPEECH- Throughout the scenes Lady Macbeth talks about her being viewed as inferior because she is a woman. She also talks about giving her husband confidence and it seems like she uses a manipulative tone to get things done.

SPEECH- He tells Lady Macbeth that they shouldn’t kill the king because they will be punished somehow. I’ve noticed that he talks with a lack of assurance, which results in him being over powered by his wife.

Lady Macbeth

  2. “But screw your courage…”

THOUGHTS- Macbeth feels remorse and regret after he killed the king. He also thinks that he is going to be punished for his actions.

THOUGHTS- 1.”What thou… wrongly win…”

  1. “…All that impedes thee from the golden round.”

INTERACTIONS- 1. Letting “I dare not” wait upon “I would”,…

  1. “if we should fail?”

SPEECH- A. “And chastise with the valor of my tongue…”

  1. “… Of direst cruelty!”
  2. “… And take my milk for gall…”

ACTIONS- 1. “… not lose the dues of rejoicing, by being ignorant…”

  1. “leave all the rest to me,”

3.”Give me the daggers..”

INTERACTIONS- Macbeth seems to be blind toward her true intentions, while she takes control of the situations.

ACTIONS- Macbeth acts all different types of ways. At first, he acts all confident, but then he seems to lose that confidence when they think of going on with the plan, at that point he seemed like a coward. He makes the choice of killing King Duncan and then instantly regrets it after the deed was done.

THOUGHTS- Lady Macbeth feels that her husband is weak and needs her guidance. She doesn’t believe in morals or doing things the right way for a good reason.

ACTIONS- Lady Macbeth is very ambitious. She chooses to persuade Macbeth to be king. She also took charge of framing the guards after the king was killed, which shows that she is a strong woman.
